Painting Life After Death

A film by Michael Hough and Emma Sanders on the art of our Vice Chair Robert McNeil MBE, a Forensic Specialist who worked in Bosnia and gifted Artist who painted about it later.

“We hope that those seeing the film will feel enriched by seeing and hearing the experience of one man who discovered, through painting, a way of speaking out for those who suffered and who continue to suffer as a result of the Srebrenica atrocities. The Fog of Srebrenica Scottish Screenings

The Award winning Fog of Srebrenica by BAFTA winner Samir Mehanovic has just completed four screenings in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and the Scottish Parliament. Each screening has been followed by a Q & A with Samir, Trustees of Remembering Srebrenica Scotland and other Scots with an interest in Bosnia.

Retired Police Officer returns to Bosnia with Remembering Srebrenica Scotland

Ron Turnbull, played a key role in bringing war criminals such as Radovan Karadzic to face justice at The Hague when he was head of the Evidence Unit at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
