Our friends at Edinburgh Direct Aid International are hosting a book launch for Fred Bridgland’s new book,”From Scotland With Love“.

This book tells the remarkable story of Edinburgh Direct Aid, an all volunteer charity that started 33 years ago delivering aid to Bosnia. Since then it has delivered remarkable projects across the world including n Pakistan, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and most recently in Ukraine.

Written by acclaimed foreign correspondent and author, Fred Bridgeland, the book weaves the characters and experiences of ordinary people doing extraordinary things with a encyclopaedic timeline and narrative of world events across the last 3 decades. The books main focus though is on the Bosnian War and the experiences of those who visited during those dark times.
