A Decade of Memory, Education and Action

Today, as we mark a decade of Beyond Srebrenica, we are proud to share our 2016-2026 Impact Report.

Ten years ago, we set out with a vital mission: to ensure the lessons of Srebrenica are never forgotten, and to turn remembrance into meaningful social action.

In the last ten years, here’s some of what we have achieved:

  • 600+ delegates journeyed with us to Bosnia, returning home deeply moved by survivors’ testimonies and inspired to drive social change across the UK.
  • 500,000 people reached through our documentaries, podcasts, print media, and digital platforms.
  • 10,000+ young people engaged since 2023 through our powerful theatre-in-education programme, Inseparable: Lessons from a nation divided
  • 100+ commemoration events and community talks hosted, including pivotal 20th and 30th anniversary events and White Armband Day memorials.
  • 20,000+ hours of dedicated, voluntary expertise contributed by our board to steer this vision forward.

Thank you for standing with us through this incredible decade. We look forward to another ten years of shared impact, memory, and partnership.
